Let me tell you, I have seen The Dirty Three at least ten times and each and every time has been a soulful, emotional and overwhelming experience.
This album really brought these guys to the top, in my opinion. No album of The Dirty Three is particularly better than another, however, most listeners will find one album that they particularly relate to. This was the album that truly broke my Dirty Three virginity, and Ocean Songs turned me into a Dirty Three slut.
Mick Turner's artwork too, is wonderful, and I encourage everyone to purchase his Art Cards. They are beautiful, and well presented.
