“Beautiful, captivating stuff, a perfectly formed festival.” *****
- The Guardian
Located amongst the peacocks and pagodas of a leafy Victorian pleasure garden, the End of the Road Festival offers an astounding lineup – led this year by Grizzly Bear, Patti Smith, Grandaddy (re-united for a few shows only), Tindersticks, Mark Lanegan Band, Midlake, Graham Coxon, Beach House and a ‘Bella Union Anniversary Celebration’ – as well as comedy, cinema, literature and workshoppery scattered throughout the beautiful, art-strewn grounds. Winner of the award for ‘Best Small Festival’ last year, the End of the Road is loved by music fans for its intimate capacity, ‘no short sets’ policy, surprise performances and famed woodland disco.
